STEP 1 - INSURANCE

First – Call your insurance company to report the accident. If you have private insurance AND ICBC coverage – then contact your private insurance company to report your claim.

STEP 2 - CLAIM NUMBER

Your insurance company will open a file and issue you a claim number. At this point, proceed to Step 3.

STEP 3 - REPAIR ESTIMATE

Call us or visit us for a FREE repair estimate. No appointment needed. Please provide us with your vehicle registration and claim number. Doc’s Auto Body will take care of the rest

STEP 4 - ICBC

“Should I bring my car to ICBC to assess vehicle damage?”

The answer is: Maybe. Doc’s Auto Body is recognized as an ICBC Accredited Repair Shop, but your Insurance Provider will determine how the claim is handled. In many cases, they will direct you to us. Your Insurance Provider will assist you with the details.

STEP 5 - COURTESY CAR

If you have “Loss of Use” coverage through your insurance company, we can set you up with a rental car right at our facility. If you do NOT have “Loss of Use” coverage through your insurance company, we will be happy to provide you with a courtesy car.

STEP 6 - PRIVATE CLAIMS

If you or the “party at fault” prefers to pay for damage without involving insurance companies, it’s our pleasure to provide you an estimate. This allows an opportunity to pay for the damages without processing a claim against your insurance.
